How can I buy and sell land in Himachal without my presence

If the desired seller or buyer cannot be physically available in the concerned Tehsildar/registrar office at the time of registration. One can sell and buy properties in Himachal Pradesh without their presence.

To complete this process without your presence, you have to authorize any desired and faithfull person to stand before the Tehsildar/Registrar to complete this process on your behalf.

Authorize Sell Land and Properties through General Power Of Attorney (GPA)

To authorize anybody to sell land and properties on your behalf, you have to give a general power of attorney (GPA) to the desired and faithful person. A General Power of Attorney (GPA) is signed by and registered with the Tehsildar/Registrar office.

Both parties (the executant and attorney holder) have to present themselves before the Tehsildar/Registrar office for completing the entire process.

Note : A notary-certified copy is not valid to sell the land and properties in Himachal Pradesh.

Non-agriculturist Himachalis is not authorize to obtain General Power of Attorney (GPA).
