Steps to register as a real estate agent in Himachal Pradesh
If you are working as a property dealer, real estate agent, or involved in a similar business in Himachal Pradesh but don’t have any registration, or don’t have any idea from where you can get it or to whom you have to approach. DO NOT WORRY, Solution is here. You can register yourself as Real Estate Agent by yourself, no need to pay anyone for assistance or lagging behind someone to make favor. What you need a computer and internet connection and a few basic documents. So let’s start.
Keep these documents along with you in the form of soft copies before initiating the process.
- Passport Photo of applicant
- PAN card,
- Aadhaar Card
- A copy of the resolution regarding authorization ( In case of Firm and Company )
- Address proof of place of business
- Details of registration in other State/UT (If any otherwise no need for this )
- Experience certificate or Self-declaration Certificate
- Bank Demand Draft of the registration fee and E charges fee, in case the Govt site payment gateway, is not working.
- Bank Demand Draft should be made in Favour of Director, Town and Country Planning (RERA) payable at Shimla.
- Charges for Individual registration fee Rs. 5000/- and E charges Rs 500/-.
- Charges for Firm and Company registration fee Rs. 20000/- and E charges Rs 1000/-.
Now time to take the following steps.
Step number – 01 – Visit official website of RERA Himachal – http://www.hprera.in
Step number – 02 – Click on the register as Agent ( as shown in the picture and as appear in this window )
Step number – 03 – Click on applicant status ( If you want to register as an individual than no need to scroll down and if you want to register by your Firm or Company name then scroll down,click the option and fill this form )
Step number – 04 – After filling the form and the sign-up process is successful.
Step number – 05 – Profile created and user name and password sent to your (mentioned) Email ID.
Step number – 07 – sign-up with given username and password, get a below-given dashboard for further proceedings, Click on apply for Estate Agent Registration.

- In major activities – write real estate agent, property dealer, rental services, or mention services you will provide.
- Requisite Experience certificate – If you have any experience then upload the respective certificate and in any case, you don’t have an experience certificate then you have to submit a ‘ Self – declaration certificate’. ( i.e. I don’t have any previous experience in real estate in Himachal or any other state ). This is also acceptable.
Step number – 09 – Time to submit the fee ( Choose an option to pay the fee – Bank draft or online and fill the detail accordingly )
Step number – 10 – Now your steps came to an end. Now time to wait for an official response If they need any correction or require any formalities, intimate you through your portal, Email, or SMS. Your application won’t have any fault within 7 to 10 days you will receive your certificate through the mail and also visible in the portal.
