Baijnath is a tehsil (subdivision) located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. This is known for the Baijnath Shiva Temple, the paragliding site Bir Billing, the Tibetan Monastery Bhattu, Tashijong, the far-flung villages Bara and Chotta Bhangal, and also the highest pass in the Dhauladhar mountain range called Thamsar Pass.
